DESU® DCPA 60Ⅱ is a medium-particle crystalline anhydrous dibasic calcium phosphate designed as a premier direct-compression filler for oral solid dosage forms. It delivers exceptional powder flow for high-speed tableting operations and its high bulk density enables the production of smaller tablets. Its neutral pH provides a stabilizing alkaline microenvironment for acid-labile APIs, while its low water absorption ensures minimal moisture interaction with sensitive actives. The crystalline cluster morphology combined with brittle-fracture deformation behavior gives DESU® DCPA 60Ⅱ low sensitivity to lubrication variations, enabling reliable scale-up from R&D to commercial manufacturing. DESU® DCPA 60Ⅱ is the preferred grade for direct compression formulations of moisture-sensitive and acid-labile APIs. Its unique combination of high bulk density and neutral pH makes it especially valuable for miniaturizing tablet size while providing a stabilizing microenvironment that protects the API from degradation.
