100KGProduct Introduction
DESU® Microcrystalline Cellulose PH-112 is produced via Westpoint's independent patented spray-drying technology platform, which precisely regulates moisture, particle morphology, particle size distribution, and pore structure. Multi-batch COA data confirms excellent inter-batch consistency, with moisture consistently maintained at 0.3-0.6%. The grade's moisture content is more than 80% lower than conventional MCC, providing a reliable low-water excipient solution for moisture-sensitive APIs such as vildagliptin and clopidogrel bisulfate.
Product Feature
Product Application
DESU® MCC PH-112 is predominantly applied in direct compression and dry granulation tablet formulations for highly moisture-sensitive APIs. Its ultra-low moisture profile effectively mitigates API hydrolysis and stability risks that would arise with standard MCC grades, while its balanced particle size ensures both adequate flow for die filling and sufficient compressibility for tablet formation. In direct compression of vildagliptin tablets, PH-112 delivered friability below 0.2% and disintegration performance comparable to or better than international benchmarks, with 30-minute cumulative dissolution exceeding 85% and f2 similarity >50. In dry granulation of clopidogrel bisulfate tablets, PH-112 met all compendial requirements for hardness, disintegration, and friability. These validated applications demonstrate that PH-112 is a dependable excipient choice for formulators developing moisture-critical oral solid dosage forms.
