DESU^® MCC Spheres are high-purity, spherical particles derived exclusively from microcrystalline cellulose and water. Designed as a core intermediate carrier, they are perfectly suited for a wide range of pharmaceutical preparations, particularly for products requiring precise and strict drug release rates. Manufactured using advanced Extrusion-Spheronization​ and Centrifugal Granulation​ technologies, MCC spheres offer exceptional physical and chemical stability. They are insoluble in water and do not generate osmotic pressure, ensuring that the drug release rate remains unaffected by the carrier itself. With superior sphericity and high mechanical strength, these spheres provide excellent flowability, guaranteeing uniform film coating and the structural integrity of pellets throughout subsequent processing.

Product Application

DESU^® MCC Spheres are primarily utilized as the foundational core material for manufacturing sustained-release and controlled-release multi-particulate dosage forms, such as pellets and minitablets. Their stable, non-interfering chemical profile makes them the ideal carrier for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) where precise release kinetics are critical.
