OPACT® Cornstarch Mannitol is a high-functionality co-processed excipient developed by Westpoint Pharma through a proprietary spray-drying process. By combining mannitol and corn starch at the sub-particle level, it forms porous spherical granules that integrate the functions of filler, disintegrant, and flavoring agent in a single ingredient. Engineered for powder direct compression and dry granulation, its porous microstructure delivers excellent flow and compressibility, enabling tablets to disintegrate in the mouth in under 30 seconds without additional disintegrants.
