Westpoint Pharma's RHEOL® HPMC E Series (Hypromellose 2910) comprises four grades—XD-E5, XD-E15, XD-E50, and XD-E4M—with viscosity from 4 to 5,600 mPa·s (2% at 20°C). Produced via an advanced physical forming process, it offers excellent film-forming properties, enhanced powder flow and compressibility, and clear dissolution in ethanol-water mixtures at ratios of 80/20 and above. RHEOL® HPMC E Series is extensively applied as a film coating agent and binder in tablet and granule manufacturing, providing a smooth, protective layer that masks odors, improves stability, and enhances aesthetic appeal. It is also a key material for producing vegetarian capsules due to its excellent film-forming and gelling properties.
